Wednesday 5th December Claiming Bet

On Wednesday we have 5 furlong claiming stakes on poly track at Lingfield ,this looks quite decent sprint claimer for this grade .

12.30 LINGFIELD 5 FURLONG CLAIMING STAKES CLASS 6:
10 runners declared for 5 furlong sprint claimer at Lingfield . On official handicap ratings Sonko & Drawnfromthepast stand out at these weights .

SONKO : Progressive three year old ,with good record on the All Weather, 5 wins & 2 seconds from 8 starts .Won the last two starts over this course and distance in handicap company .Has good record in claiming company 1212 .

DRAWNFROMTHEPAST: Consistent sort  over 5 & 6 furlongs finished placed on the last four starts in handicap company ,also won five times this year the last win coming in 5 furlong handicap at Wolverhampton in October .

VERDICT : Sonko has been in great form winning back to back handicaps over course & distance at Lingfield .Looks sure to go well returning to claiming company ,though faces no easy task with Drawnfromthepast at these weights .

DRAWNFROMTHEPAST has been knocking on the door in recent handicaps and looks well treated returning to claiming company .On 7LB better terms can reverse last week's course & distance form with Sonko .

Lujeanie looks best of the others and would have been interesting had this been over 6 furlongs ,though has never won over 5 furlongs and may struggle for pace on this sharp track.
