BATTALION : Won 4 races from 15 starts , including winning 10 furlong listed race on poly track at Lingfield in November .Bounced back to form last time ,finishing good 3rd in Winter Hill stakes at Windsor .Will be suited returning to listed company .

HORS DE COMBAT : Consistent sort , winning 2 races from 15 starts .Been running well this season without winning ,finished decent third in 1 mile G3 Sovereign Stakes at Haydock last time ,behind Balty Boys .Should be thereabouts, if staying this longer trip .

VERDICT : BATTALION is proven winner in listed company over 10 furlongs ,and looked to be approaching peak form last time in G3 company at Windsor .Soft ground conditions should suit.Looks solid each-way value at around 7-2 mark.

Basem looks obvious danger ,having finishing third in decent nine furlong G3 contest at York last time,though there looks no value in top price 11-8 .
