On Saturday we are back at Wolverhampton ,for high quality seven furlong listed race on the tapeta at 2.50 

8 runners declared for £50,000 added, 7F Lady Wulfruna listed contest.This looks cracking 
contest,with some useful AW sorts .The four main contenders are Sovereign Dept , Chookie Royale , Mister Universe & Realize .

SOVEREIGN DEPT : Useful 7 year old gelding ,winning 8 out 34,including winning this race last year . Showed some useful form last season ,winning 4 times ,including winning G3 in Ireland .Has fair record in listed races over 7F  ,though has 5LB group 3 penalty .

CHOOKIE ROYALE : Course specialist winning 6 times at Wolverhampton ,including winning this race in 2014 & finishing 2ND last year . Been in good form this winter ,winning three times in condition races . Bit disappointing last time at Lingfield in listed company , though has poor record at that track 0 out 6 . Should go well returning to his favourite track .

MISTER UNIVERSE  : Won 2 out 14 on turf , though produced career best effort last time ,on his first start on AW ,when winning class 2 handicap over 1 mile at Lingfield,off mark 102 . Will need more improvement to land this Listed Contest .

REALIZE : Progressive sort ,winning 9 out 18 on AW .Been in great form this winter ,winning three times .Showed career best effort last time ,winning 0-105 handicap at Lingfield off mark 101 . Takes step up in class ,though should be thereabouts .

VERDICT : Last years winner Sovereign Dept is the class act here , having won group 3 & three listed races last season, though faces no easy task ,conceding weight all round ,on his first start of the season .

Course specialist CHOOKIE ROYALE can land this race for second time ,wasn't at his best at Lingfield last time ,though has never won at that track (0-6) .Has an excellent record here at Wolverhampton winning 6 out 10 . Should take plenty of catching from stall 3 .Odds around 4-1 look very fair value .
