On Friday evening, we have good looking 7 furlong fillies fast track qualifier at Wolverhampton .
7 runners declared for class two 7 furlong fillies condition race .The three main contenders look to be Golden Amber , Volunteer Point & Squash .
GOLDEN AMBER : Consistent 5-Y-0 mare ,winning 2 out 15 on All Weather , also been placed 6 times .Returned to form last time, finishing creditable 2ND behind Chookie Royale in 7 furlong conditions race at Kempton.Should be thereabouts ,though hasn't won since September 2015 .
VOLUNTEER POINT : Useful 4-Y-0 Filly, winning 5 out 12 on All Weather, including winning Fillies & Mares championship at Lingfield in March.Returned to form last time ,finishing 3RD of 11 in decent class 2 handicap at Chelmsford ,off mark 94 .Should go well on her tapeta debut
SQUASH : Inconsistent 3-Y-0 Filly ,only victory came in 6 furlong maiden at Wolverhampton ,though has shown some useful form in 2016 ,including finishing 2ND in group 3 Nell Gwyn at Newmarket .Solid claims on her best form ,though not the most reliable sort .
VERDICT : VOLUNTEER POINT returned to form last time at Chelmsford ,and looks the one to beat, being proven winner in this grade, including winning three class 2 condition races in 2016 .Also has good strike on All Weather 5 out 12 .Unraced on tapeta at Wolverhampton ,though seems to handle most artificial surfaces . Odds around 11-4 look fair value .
VOLUNTEER POINT 6.15 WOLVERHAMPTON
