14 runners declared for 55,000 euro Cooley Listed Stakes at 7.30 .This looks quite competitive fillies contest .The three main contenders look to be Gold Rush ,Belle Boyd & Hunaina .
GOLDRUSH : Three-year-old (1.7 million) Frankel filly, unbeaten in two starts ,including winning 8F maiden in good style at Navan in September .Looked well suited stepping up to 10.5F last time at Dundalk ,winning the Carlingford listed Stakes.Looks very progressive filly ,sure to win more races .
BELLE BOYD : Three-year-old Oasis Dream filly , winning 1 out 4 .Won 8F maiden at Naas in July by easy 6 lenghs (Not the strongest looking maiden)However showed improved form on her handicap debut last time ,finishing staying on second in decent looking 7F handicap at Dundalk .Takes step up in class, though will be suited returning to this longer trip .
HUNAINA : Three-year-old Tamayuz filly ,winning 3 out 12 (Unbeaten on poly track at Dundalk winning 2 out 2 ) Been in decent form this season winning twice ,including making all in competitive 7F handicap at Dundalk last time, off mark 88 .Unproven over this longer trip ,though looks open to more improvement on poly track .
VERDICT : The unbeaten GOLDRUSH looked potentially smart filly, after winning listed race at Dundalk last time .Has to defy 3lb listed penalty, though looks open to plenty more improvement after just the two starts. The drop back in trip shouldn't be problem, having won over this distance at Navan .Odds around 10-3 look solid value .
