JBB RATINGS
1)FALCON EIGHT (109) (2) WORDSWORTH (107) (3) CALLING THE WIND
FALCON EIGHT should go well for Dermot Weld & Tom Marquand ,finished very good fifth in Chester Cup last month ,when trying concede 12lb to winner and 14lb to the second ,that form looks very solid with the second Coltrane winning Ascot Stakes earlier in week off mark 98 ,though a disappointing favourite in thie race last year that was on soft ground .Will be suited by faster ground.Odds around 9-2 look very fair value .
Wordsworth has been put in short price favourite for Aidan O'Brien ,finished fair fourth in Sagaro Stakes at Ascot in April, though was disappointing in 12f listed race last time at the Curragh .Looks short enough for horse yet run over further than two miles
Of the others Calling The Wind looks most interesting ,finished creditable second in this race last year on soft ground ,also finished fair third in Cesarewitch at Newmarket last season on better ground .One of the few guaranteed stayers over this extreme distance .Each-way claims
